Specific repairs are usually not stipulated in
the initial contract unless the buyer has
inspected the property prior to signing the
contract. The parties usually specify an
inspection period after the contract is signed

property and notify the seller of any repairs
the buyer wants made to the property. Ten days
should be adequate in most instances. The
amount to be paid is typically $50 to $250 but
can be any amount negotiated by the parties. If
you do not answer any of the inspection fee
questions, we will leave those provisions blank
on the form which will mean that there is no
inspection period.
